When deciding on what type of poker chips you’d prefer, you may choose between clay or composite-style poker chips. Clay poker chips are the closest you will get to the real casino poker chips, and are also a bit more costly. When the chips are shuffled, they make the same clacking sound as casino chips. Composite poker chips, however (sometimes referred to as ABS composite), are made of compressed plastic material with a weighted metal insert in the center. These chips are perfect for home games, and will last a lifetime with proper usage.
